Now the UK has a new Government, This will become an important subject and will continue to bring in more and more legislation concerning the disposal of waste.
HLCE uses the best form of recycling. We redistribute the collected goods that have commercial or practical value, therefore minimising the amount of material to be disposed of. The remainder will be used for spare parts and then recycle the rest to avoid using Land Fill Sites. Everything is categorised and sent to the relevant recycling centres, and all the WEEE equipment to the AATF (Authorised Approved Treatment Facility)
We are listed with the Environment Agency and are registered for producing waste and are carriers of controlled and hazardous waste. This means that we have a Waste Transfer Licence and issue Certificates of Disposal for all items at whatever site or customer we collect from. We also act as a third party for organisations for the disposal of their WEEE Items. On completion of each assignment an audit trail of all items sold or disposed of is created.
